The Opening Song Was Written In 15 Minutes

The opening credits to the show are iconic, accompanied with one of the most hummable tunes in music history. Titled “The Fishin’ Hole”, the classic tune was written by Earle Hagen and Herbert Spencer, with Hagen performing the whistling himself. According to him, the entire song was written in just 15 minutes!
