Björn Rune Borg is a celebrated world champion tennis player. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of tennis. With 11 Grand Slam and 15 Grand Prix Super Series titles, he truly deserves his international recognition and huge fan base. Perhaps the best thing about his achievements is that his son, Robin, also inherited his passion and talent for tennis.
The young Borg plays at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater while pursuing his advertising degree. Bjorn must be thrilled and proud that his son is fueled with determination to be the next tennis superstar. Way to go, Robin!
Jarret Payton
Jarrett Walter Payton is a former football running back for the Toronto Argonauts (2009) and Chicago Slaughter (2010-2012). Jarrett is the son of Walter Payton, a former NFL running back for the Chicago Bears for 13 seasons. His skillfulness with touchdowns, carries, and many other categories earned him enviable success in his football career.
Although Jarrett hasn’t had quite the colorful portfolio his father enjoyed, he has proficiency in many more fields than football, like recording music and managing his foundation that promotes anti-bullying through football. In 2015, he also served as a sports reporter for WGN-TV. He got it from his daddy—versatility at its finest!
Antron Pippen
Aside from Sophia Pippen, Scottie Pippen’s son from his previous marriage is also making a name for himself. Antron Pippen plays basketball too but not in the NBA. However, we’re sure he and his father are dreaming of a slot for him in the world-famous basketball association anytime soon.
Scottie is one of the legendary basketball players of the NBA during the ‘90s and his performances with the Chicago Bulls was nothing short of stunning. He was named eight consecutive times to the NBA-All Defensive First Team and as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. That said, we hope Anton will make it big too. What are we saying, of course he will!
Trevor Gretzky
Wayne Douglas Gretzky is a retired professional hockey player and head coach. Nicknamed “The Great One,” he played for 20 seasons in the NHL and was considered as “the greatest hockey player ever.” Wayne has five children with actress, Janet Jones, namely Paulina, Ty, Trevor, Tristan, and Emma.
Ty played hockey but eventually quit the sport while Trevor is a former minor league baseball player. He hasn’t made it yet to the pros but we have faith that he’ll get there eventually. With his legendary father as his coach, we’re confident that Trevor will get to his dream field and start taking out his dream awards.
Charlie Woods
When you’re a child to one of the world’s most popular athletes, expect to be a favorite subject among the media, fans and sports analysts. In the case of Charlie Woods, his parents, golfer Tiger Woods, and former model, Elin Nordegren, have nothing to worry about. Charlie, who is now 10-years-old, seems to already be a pro in playing golf.
In 2016, when he was just seven years old, Charlie bagged 2nd place in the U.S. Kids Golf Boys 7 event, held in Palm Beach, Florida. What else can we expect with this talented kid? The younger Woods seems set to create a successful career of his own in the near future.
