The Maldives is a top honeymoon spot but this beautiful place isn’t just for newlyweds. Male is the capital of the Maldives and is the largest city here. Male is also an Islamic city so you will want to make sure to dress more modestly when you are not relaxing by the pool.

Split, Croatia
For those who are looking for another Croatian destination, Split is a lovely alternative. This coastal city (which is also the country’s capital) is home to beautiful beaches, islands, and fresh seafood.
In Split, you can also check out the ancient, Roman palace of Emperor Diocletian and the rich, ancient history surrounding the area. And, if you want to get out of town, you can hike in the Marjan Forest Park, located at the top of Split. There is so much to see in the stunning, baltic city.

Swakopmund is a coastal town in the African country of Namibia. Visitors will notice a German influence as the area was colonized in 1892 by German, South West Africa.
