If there’s one woman on this list that can truly ‘kick-butt’, it’s Ronda Rousey. The former MMA fighter and current WWE wrestler shows women everywhere just how powerful they can be, all while looking absolutely fabulous and having the brains to boot.
Rousey became the first American woman to win an Olympic Judo medal in the 2008 Summer Olympics. She has since become the MMA Women’s champion, which led to an incredible career, including various acting roles and being the cover athlete of the UFC videogames.
Most of us first saw Margot Robbie in her 2013 breakthrough role as the rich and seductive Naomi Lapaglia in 'The Wolf of Wall Street', and we couldn’t get her out of our heads ever since! The Australian actress later went on to play the beautiful, yet totally psychotic, Harley Quinn. Robbie is currently filming Suicide Squad’s sequel, 'Birds of Prey', where she reprises her role as the woman of crime and makes our eyes pop, our jaws drop and our mouths water once again.
Robbie received critical acclaim in 2017 for her portrayal of the disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding, in the biographical film 'I, Tonya', and was nominated for 7 awards throughout the years. Although, if it were up to us, she would have won them all!
Before actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson stole our hearts and drove us to theaters, we had Angelina Jolie dazzle us in roles like Lara Croft (Tomb Raider), Mrs. Smith (Mr. & Mrs. Smith), and most recently, Maleficent (Maleficent). Besides an incredible acting and directing career, Jolie is noted for her humanitarian efforts, for which she has received many awards.
Jolie was cited for many years as the world’s most beautiful woman, and as one of the most influential and powerful people in the American entertainment industry. Since her breakup with Brad Pitt, we've been rooting for her to find her prince charming but truthfully, no one really compares to this American heartthrob. For now, she will just keep dazzling us on the red carpet.
Ashley Graham is unarguably the most beautiful plus-size model in the world. She was spotted at the young age of 13 by an agency, while shopping at a mall in Omaha, Nebraska, and her modeling career began from there.
In 2017, Graham released a book 'A New Model: What Confidence, Beauty, and Power Really Look Like', where she tells of her experiences as a plus-sized model and body positivity advocate. Graham also gave a TED Talk advocating for self-acceptance, in which she stared into a mirror and made comments that many teen (and adult) women can relate to, like: “Back fat, I see you popping over my bra today. But that’s all right. I’m gonna choose to love you.” We could all learn a thing or two about self-acceptance from her.
Halle Berry began her career as a model and almost won Miss USA in 1986. The actress went on to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, making her the only woman of African American descent to have won the award. During the 2000s, Berry became one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood.
Nobody was surprised when she won first place in the 2003 Time's list of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World" (notice that she beat the men too!). She was also named Esquire magazine's "Sexiest Woman Alive", which was a huge compliment to the 42-year-old actress who had just had a baby.
