“The Big Unit” seems like a nickname that is hard to live up to, but Randy Johnson at 6ft 8in is more than equal to the task. With a nickname like that, it’s hard to take your eyes off of him! Johnson played major league baseball for an astounding 22 seasons on six different teams but mostly for the Seattle Mariners and Arizona Diamondbacks.
He is famous for being the fifth most successful left-handed baseball player of all time and for having the second-most career strikeouts (4,875) in MLB history.
Aaron Rodgers - NFL
It's not easy to follow the footsteps of Brett Favre for three years and somehow manage to shine yourself, but that's exactly what Aaron Rodgers did when he became the lead quarterback of the Green Bay Packers in 2005. Since then, the talented quarterback and his ocean eyes have led his team to a Super Bowl championship and was named Associated Press Athlete of the Year in 2011.
Rodgers holds a leading career passer rating of 102.7 and reached as high as 122.5 in the 2011 season. Rodgers also holds the record for most consecutive passes without an interception, which currently stands at a whopping 402 passes. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, with still some record-breaking time to go before the end of his career.
Carl Edwards - NASCAR
Even though Edwards retired from racing in 2017 at the age of 37 - he can drive our car anytime he likes! In 2015 when the gorgeous racer won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bojangles’ Southern 500 at the Darlington Raceway, he celebrated by holding up the checkered flag.
He was also known for performing his famous backflip off of his car every time he won a race. In 2009, he married Katherine Downey, and the couple has two children together.
Jimmie Johnson - NASCAR
With his dough eyes and puppy-dog face, Johnson is the third stock car racer to win seven Cup championships. Jimmie Johnson was born in El Cajon, California, in 1975 and entered the world of racing after graduating high school. In 2001, Johnson signed with Hendricks Racing, and since then has seen many wins to his name.
He has won seven Cup championships, most impressively five of them being consecutive wins from 2006-2010, becoming the first driver to do so. To date, Johnson has won 86 races, started in the pole position 35 times, finished in the top five 221 times, and in the top ten in 342 races.
Isiah Thomas - NBA
The leader of the Bad Boys, Isiah Thomas, always played with a chip on his shoulder. Thomas was lightning quick with the ball and was an excellent shooter from the outside.
However, what he will be most remembered for is his tremendous ability as a leader. One of the original floor generals, Thomas, had an innate ability to know when to get the ball to his teammates versus getting himself going offensively.
