Patsy Cline
Many singers and vocalists are nicknamed the ‘queen of _____’. For some, that title is an exaggeration that can be traced back to a handful of overexcited fans. Patsy Cline is most certainly not one of those performers and fully deserves to be called Queen of Country Music.
Her legendary career had to be cut short when she was only 30 years old and died in a plane crash. She was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame ten years after her death and became the first woman to have gotten that kind of recognition.
